Every story starts somewhere. On August 22, local storytellers take the stage at Charleston Heights Arts Center for StorySLAM: Call Me — a live storytelling night built around one theme, told a dozen different ways.
From hilarious misdials to phone calls that changed everything, expect an evening of authenticity, vulnerability, and unexpected twists. This is real people telling real stories, unscripted and in the moment — the kind of night that reminds you how much you have in common with a room full of strangers.
Hosted and emceed by teaching artist Dayvid Figler, StorySLAM is equal parts heartfelt and entertaining. Whether you're a longtime fan of live storytelling or walking in for the first time, there's a seat at the table for you.
